Volunteer with Friends of the Hoyt Arboretum by joining one or more Saturday Crews. See the 2026 schedule here: “Stewardship volunteers are essential to keeping the Arboretum healthy and beautiful, and Saturday crew offers a great way to connect with other nature lovers while learning a bit about caring for trees. Volunteers handle a variety of tasks such as weeding and mulching, invasive species removal, brush clearing, and more. Saturday Crew is a seasonal volunteer program that happens from 9am to 12pm approximately twice a month in the Spring and Fall seasons.” No experience is necessary: the Arboretum provides tools, gloves, and onsite training.
