Portland Parks and Recreation (PP&R) declined Explore Washington Park’s (EWP) application to use the Sherwood Soccer Field for parking. EWP’s Transportation Access Plan (TAP) includes turning the Soccer Field into a permanent parking lot and this summer’s request was the feasibility step in the Plan. PP&R’s July decision instructs EWP to complete additional steps before resubmitting an application.
